You work hard for your money. Parting with it can be a painful experience especially if the amount is significant or it is being used for something you care about more than your weekly groceries.

Which company or small business deserves your patronage?

When it comes time to part with some of it how do you choose what product to buy or service to use?

With just about every business being online in some form whether it is their website, social media, review sites, etc. there is plenty of information for you to do your homework before shelling out the dough.

Some people still prefer to ask a “person” about a business before deciding to use them or buy their products. The great thing about online reviews is that they ARE from real people. (Sometimes not but the “fakes” are pretty evident)

Next time you decide to make a purchase, no matter what it costs, try doing a little homework first.

Do they have a good reputation?

What about customer service?

Return policies?

How well does the TV work for other people who have bought it?

Same with any services you are going to contract.

Go to google.com and type in the company you want to hire.

Do they have a good reputation?

How is their customer service?

What do people say about their experience with their service?

It only takes a few minutes and it can save you LOTS in the long run.
